Awards for Fletco Carpets A/S

EcoTEX™, our eco-friendly carpet backing, is among the winners at this year's iF Design Award 2021 in the discipline Product, the category Textiles/Wall/Floor. 

Our eco-friendly carpet backing EcoTEX^™ran away with double honours at the German Design Award 2021, as it was awarded both a Winner and Special Mention prize in the category Excellent Product Design.

For the second year in a row, one of Fletcos products is among the finalists for the Danish Design Award. This time, it's the new eco-friendly carpet backing EcoTEX™, which is one of the finalists in the category Save Resources. Read more about what the jury says about EcoTEX™ ►

With our eco-friendly and flexible carpet backing - EcoTEX™ - we have once again proven Fletco Carpets' innovation level and ability to develop user-oriented design solutions. Winning a German Innovation Award 2020 in the category Excellence in Business to Business - Building & Elements is a proof of this.

We are very proud and delighted to be able to announce that Fletco Carpets has won a German Design Award for the sixth consecutive year. On this occasion, we won the German Design Award 2020 with the collection Layers by Sebastian Wrong, in the Excellent Product Design - Building and Elements category.

Fletco Carpets ran away with double honours at the German Brand Awards 2019, as we were awarded a Winner prize in the category Excellent Brands - Interior. In addition, we was also awarded a Special Mention prize in the category, Excellent Brands - Sustainable Brand of the Year. We are extremely proud of winning these two prestigious awards.

Layers by Sebastian Wrong wins its second design award. This time the award is from the German Innovation Award 2019, which has given the stamp of approval for innovation to this creative carpet tile collection. Layers was awarded a Winner prize in the Excellence in Business to Consumer - Interior & Living category. 

Fletco's innovative and highly unique carpet tile shape, LockTiles^®, was among the total of 45 finalists chosen to attend the Danish Design Award 2019 event. The Danish Design Awards´ jury chose LockTiles^® as the finalist in the category Game Changer.

The innovative LockTiles^® carpet tile shape was one of the products selected to attend the award ceremony at the Green Product Award 2019 in Munich. Each year, The Green Product Award is awarded for the most innovative and sustainable products or services. This year, LockTiles^® was, however, beaten by other excellent products in the Office category.

Layers by Sebastian Wrong, together with 30 other products, singled itself out from the 500 other products which were submitted, and was awarded the highly satisfactory honour Best of Best in the category Wall, floor, ceiling in the design competition ICONIC AWARDS 2019: Innovative Interior. The goal of ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior is to discover and recognize the best products within all categories of interior design.

For the fifth year in a row, we won at the German Design Award. This year it was for LockTiles^®, our newly-developed carpet tile shape; and this is the fifth design award LockTiles^® has run away with in under a year!

LockTiles^® was awarded a Winner Award in the category Excellent Product Design - Building & Elements.

The innovative carpet tile shape, LockTiles^®, gained international acclaim for the fourth time. This time, in the architecture and design competition, ICONIC AWARDS 2018: Innovative Architecture winning the award Best of Best in the category Product. ICONIC AWARDS 2018: Innovative Architecture is one of the first impartial, international architecture and design competitions that focuses on how the various disciplines interact with each other.

The unique carpet tile shape, LockTiles^®, has got off to a flying start on the market, and LockTiles^® has won no less than three coveted design awards within the space of a year. On this occasion, LockTiles^® won international acclaim in the world-famous design competition, the Red Dot Award: Product Design in the category Materials and surfaces.

Yet again LockTiles^® managed to convince the jury that its unique edge guarantees a perfect fit every time. This time the 63-member jury at one of the industry´s most recognized design competitions, the iF Design Awards, voted LockTiles^® the winner in the discipline Textiles/Wall/Floor in the category Products.

Shortly after the launch of LockTiles^®, this unique type of carpet tile won its first design award. At the design competition, ICONIC AWARDS 2018: Innovative Interior LockTiles^® excelled itself by running off with the Winner Award in the category Wall, floor and ceiling. The goal of ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior is to discover and recognize the best products within all categories of interior design.

The tufted carpet tile called Stony Beach was honoured once again on the international design scene, winning one of the highly sought-after Winner awards in one of the most well-recognized design competitions in the industry, the German Design Award, in the category Buildings and Elements.

The tufted Stony Beach carpet tile was once again honoured in the first impartial, international architecture and design competition to be held, the ICONIC AWARDS, which focuses on how different products interact with each other. Stony Beach was awarded the Winner award in the category Wall, floor and ceiling.

With its third design award in just a year, ZigZag-Tiles^® swept the board, demolishing the competition. In the design competition, ICONIC AWARDS 2017: Interior Innovation,  ZigZag-Tiles^® managed to win the sought-after Best of Best award in the category Wall, floor and ceiling. The goal of ICONIC AWARDS: Innovative Interior is to discover and recognize the best products within all categories of interior design.

Our ZigZag-Tiles^® carpet tile shape wins yet another sought-after design award, this time a Special Mention in the category Excellent Product Design at the German design competition, German Design Award 2017. The Special Mention award is given to products whose design is particularly successful because of its sub-elements or solutions – a prize that, above all, honours the designer and company´s commitment. The carpet quality Space, which is available as either carpet tiles or as broadloom, was also nominated for a German Design Award, but didn't manage to win the prize this time.

The first award is in the bag for ZigZag-Tiles^® after the international architecture and design competition, ICONIC AWARDS 2016 awarded ZigZag-Tiles^® the Winner award in the category Wall, floor and ceiling. ICONIC AWARDS is the first impartial, international architecture and design competition that focuses on how the various disciplines interact with each other.

After being nominated in the German Design Award 2016 competition, the carpet tile collection, Art Weave by Fletco was awarded the sought-after Special Mention award in the category Building and Elements. The Special Mention Award is awarded to products whose design is particularly successful because of its sub-elements or solutions – a prize that, above all, honours the designer and company's commitment. 

Two carpet tile collections by Fletco Carpets were honoured with awards at the international architecture and design competition, the ICONIC AWARDS 2015. Sebastian Wrong by Fletco was awarded Best of Best in the category Wall, floor and ceiling and Art Weave by Fletco was awarded the Winner award in the same category.

Once again the carpet tile collection, Art Weave by Fletco has won a highly sought-after design prize. This time it's the Winner award at the design competition Interior Innovation Awards 2015.

Sebastian Wrong by Fletco has again been honoured - this time at the German Design Award 2015. Due to the exceptional quality of the products submitted, the German Design Council decided to award the carpet tile collection Sebastian Wrong by Fletco a Special Mention award. This award honours both the designer and manufacturer for successfully combining design with functionality.

The Sebastian Wrong by Fletco carpet tile collection has won two prizes at the Interior Innovation Awards 2014. Namely, a Winner award and the Best of Best award.

The unique design of Art Weave by Fletco managed to impress the jury at one of the most prestigious, international design competitions in the industry. The carpet tile collection was awarded a Winner award at the Reddot Product Design Awards 2014.

Fletco Carpets has been awarded one of the year's Gazelle Awards 2013. The Gazelle Award is awarded by Børsen (The Danish Financial Times) to companies that have achieved continual growth in either revenue or gross profit during the past four consecutive years, and which have more than quadrupled their overall revenue or gross profit during the period.

The carpet tile collection, STARCK by Fletco was nominated at the German Design Award 2012, but didn´t run off with a prize this time unfortunately.

Yet again, STARCK by Fletco has been honoured on the international design scene. This time, by winning a Winner award at the Interior Innovation Award 2011.

STARCK by Fletco was nominated for the Designpreis Deutschland 2011. However, they didn´t pull it off this time, but its still a huge recognition to be nominated. 

The colourful carpet tile collection STARK by Fletco, designed by Frenchman, Phillipe Stark, managed to impress a jury at one of the most prestigious, international design competitions in the industry. STARCK by Fletco was awarded the sought-after Winner award at the Reddot Product Designs 2010.
